Naval Radio Party – 2012

The NRA carries out annually on the third Saturday of July, a Naval Radio Party intended to be participated by as much as possible of amateur stations.

1. When: This year is Saturday, July 14th
2. Period:  Two periods   1st  = [0800-1300] UTC
2nd  = [1500-2100] UTC
3. Mode: CW, SSB, PSK/RTTY;
4. Who can participate?
a. NRA Members and Members of Sister Societies;
b. Any other amateur radio station individually;

5. Points:
a) Each QSO between stations held by NRA members or members of Sister Societies, NRA Club Stations or Sister Societies’s Club Stations and non member  amateur stations worth 4 points CW,  3 points SSB and 2 points  PSK/RTTY only once per mode and period, regardless the used band. Following QSO’s worth 1 point each.

b) The stations C31PP; CU3DI; PT7ZT; EA1LQ; EA1TF; EA1AQ; F8ATS and R5GM all held by NRA members and the  Sister Societies Club Stations CQ7GIL; CS5NRA; DL0MF; GB3RN; IQ1NM, IQ9MQ; OE6XMF; OH1AJ; ON4BRN; PI4MRC and YO4KMR if on the air and contacted, regardless stated on paragraph 4.a) above, they additionally worth 15 points only once per period, regardless the mode or band used.

c) The same station can be contacted only one time per period;

6. Infos to exchange:
a) Members of the NRA or Sister Societies and  Sister Societies Club Stations send: RST + number of member; e.g. 599 PN001, 599 CA145,  599 MF1026; 599 PN100;

b) Non member Stations send: RST + QSO number, eg 599 001

7. Frequencies:
The central frequencies for this event are the ones adopted by the NRA as preferred, but contacts can be made on any other IARU recommended freq.
• CW - 3505, 7005, 14005, 21005, 28065
• SSB - 3650, 7085, 14325, 21170, 28325
• PSK31 – 3580, 7035, 14070, 21080, 28072

8. LOGs
Logs must be submitted in Excel, Cabrillo or ADIF format to nra@nra.pt and must include the following fields:  (Exemple)
